The aim of this BNG project was to raise awareness of Brecks specific heritage building skills; to connect owners and managers of heritage buildings with the skills and resources needed to manage them; and to engage with the wider public.  The event will help to promote the skills and training opportunities necessary for the continued conservation of built heritage assets.  It will also help people to understand the important relationship between buildings and the landscape, and explore key skills that are still relevant today.

Lottery funding was only for a one-off event, however West Stow are keen to make the Brecks Fest is a lasting legacy of the scheme.
